INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Suitable Materials ALU, PET, PS, PP, PVC, PLA, PAPER
Application Methods Rotogravure, Roller Coating, Semi-Flexo
Coating Weight 4–7 g/m² (Dry Substance)
Viscosity 15–30 s (DIN 53211, 4 mm)
Thinner Ethyl acetate, MEK, Ethanol < 4%
Drying 130–160 °C for 6–10 seconds
The optimal drying depends on factors such as machine speed, coating weight, temperature profile, solvent evaporation, air flow, and humidity. The residual solvent content should be regularly measured and monitored.
Sealing values N/15mm
AL / APET → N/15 mm: 12 (Brugger-HSG C 200°C, 1 sec, 460N, Tolerance ±2)
AL / PS → N/15 mm: 14 (Brugger-HSG C 200°C, 1 sec, 460N, Tolerance ±2)
AL / PP → N/15 mm: 14 (Brugger-HSG C 200°C, 1 sec, 460N, Tolerance ±2)
PET / PS → N/15 mm: 10 (Brugger-HSG C 200°C, 1 sec, 460N, Tolerance ±2)
PET / PP → N/15 mm: 10 (Brugger-HSG C 200°C, 1 sec, 460N, Tolerance ±2)
The specified values apply at 200 °C. Adhesion decreases as the temperature decreases.
The effective sealing range is between 180 °C and 205 °C.
Paper must be NC primed.
HYGIENE AND COMPLIANCE
