INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Suitable Materials ALU, PET, PS, PLA
Application Methods Rotogravure, Roller Application, Semiflexo
Application Rate 3–7 g/m² (dry content)
Viscosity 15–25 s (DIN 53211, 4 mm)
Thinner Ethyl acetate, MEK
Drying 130–160 °C for 5–10 seconds
Optimal drying depends on factors such as machine speed, lacquer application, temperature profile, evaporation, airflow, and humidity. The residual solvent content should be measured and checked regularly.
Sealing values N/15mm
AL / APET → N/15 mm: 9 (Brugger-HSG C 200°C, 1 s, 460 N, tolerance ±2)
AL / PS → N/15 mm: 11 (Brugger-HSG C 200°C, 1 s, 460 N, tolerance ±2)
AL / AL → N/15 mm: 15 (Brugger-HSG C 200°C, 1 s, 460 N, tolerance ±2)
PET / PS → N/15 mm: 10 (Brugger-HSG C 200°C, 1 s, 460 N, tolerance ±2)
The values above depend on the sealing temperature, and adhesion decreases at lower temperatures.
*Recommended for NC-coated paper surfaces.
