Apply your stone carpet according to the following steps:
Priming – First step in the installation process
The first step in the installation process is applying the primer for the stone carpet. The Stellar PRIMER ST-100EP primer seals the porous substrate. This prevents the binding agent from penetrating the pores later, thus contributing to the stability and durability of the stone carpet. It also prevents any potential weakening of the surface structure. The primer also serves to optimally bond the various layers of the stone carpet together.
INSTALLATION of Stellar BASE ST-200EP and RUNDKORN natural stone mixture
The prepared surface is then coated with a mixture of Stellar Round Grain S Natural Stone and Stellar BASE ST-200EP in the appropriate thickness. The correct dosage of the individual components is crucial to ensure that the surface of the stone carpetim Laufe der Zeit stabil bleibt.
PORE FILLING & SEALING with Stellar TOPCOAT ST-300EP for interior use
Fills the pores between round-grain natural stones. Thanks to its hydrophobic properties, it provides a barrier against moisture and water. It strengthens the stone carpet structure against mechanical and chemical influences. It exhibits pronounced scratch and impact resistance and can be driven over by cars and forklifts, provided the pore fill is at least 2-3 kg/m², depending on the grain size.
SEALING with UV CARE 400PU for outdoor areas
To optimize abrasion resistance and ensure increased resistance to UV radiation, we recommend applying a polyurethane-based topcoat. This clear coating ensures that the aesthetic appeal of the stone carpet is preserved for a long time, especially in areas with intensive use or high UV exposure.

Improved Strength
The primer increases the mechanical stability of the substrate, resulting in improved resistance to stress and wear.
Liability Enhancement

Chemical resistance

Application
Preparation: The substrate must be clean, dry, and free from dirt and dust.
Mixing: Thoroughly mix the primer according to the instructions.
Application: Apply the primer evenly with a roller or brush.
Curing: Wait 12 hours for the primer to cure before laying the stone carpet.

Application
Preparation: The substrate must be primed, clean, dry, and free from dirt and dust.
Mixing: Mix the two components A+B carefully according to the instructions. Slowly add the round-grain natural stones and stir for 5 minutes.
Application: Spread the Stellar BASE ST-200EP + round-grain mixture with a trowel, then smooth it tightly with a finishing trowel. Always observe the pot life!
Curing: Walkable only after 12 hours.
